Immature Bitter Orange Pill to Reduce Focal Distention

Function: reduces focal distension, eliminates fullness, strengthens Spleen, harmonizes Stomach

Composition:

  Zhi Shi Fructus immaturus citri aurantii 15g
  Zhi Hou Po Honey fried cortex magnoliae officinalis 12g
  Huang Lian Rhizoma coptidis 15g
  Ban Xia Rhizoma pinelliae ternatae 9g
  Ren Shen Radix ginseng 9g
  Bai Zhu Rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae 6g
  Fu Ling Sclerotium poriae cocos 6g
  Mai Ya Fructus hordei vulgaris germinantus 6g
  Gan Jiang Dried rhizoma zingiberis officinalis 3g
  Zhi Gan Cao Honey fried radix glycyrrhizae uralensis 6g

Indications: Chronic SP qi deficiency causing qi stagnation.  The qi stagnation gives rise to cold and heat symptoms in the middle jiao.  This in turn dammages the SP and ST again causing focal distension and fullness in the epigastrium, no thirst or appetite, fatigue, weakness, dull complexion, poor digestion, alternating loose and hard stools.  T: pale, thin yellowish coat; P: wiry
